MARTINSBURG, WV - 24-year-old Natasha Redman has had countless haircuts, but it's the first time she'll be letting go of her locks and shaving her entire head.
"I feel like Demi Moore in G.I. Jane where she just shaved her head," says Redman. "I don't really feel like I have cancer."
Redman was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Adenocarcinoma.
She just started her chemotherapy and began losing her hair. Her family also decided to shave their heads to show their support.
"We all held hands and took a vow that when she lost her hair that we would lose her hair with her so that we're fighting this battle with her," says her aunt Connie Caton. "It's not just her alone."
"When hers starts to grow back I'll let mine grow back," says Redman's mother, Rhonda Foltz. "So when she's completely bald, I'm just going to get a razor and cut off mine too."
Redman says breathing through her nose has been difficult because her cancer affects her sinuses
"Finding out I had cancer was a really big shock on Halloween," says Redman. "The brain surgery makes me a little nervous, and I know I'm never going to be able to smell again. They said that my sense of smell will never come back."
Her sense of taste is also diminishing.
Still, her spirit and upbeat attitude remains strong especially with her now bald family fully supporting her fight.
"It's just hair." says Foltz, "If I never got it back, I don't care, as long as my daughter's alive."
