HAGERSTOWN, MD - Easter seals celebrated Christmas Wednesday with some secret Santa gifts and a real Santa at good Shepherd Ministries.

Members of Good Shepherd adopted 63 adults with disabilities through Easter Seals, making them a Christmas dinner and picking out gifts for them.

Many don't have families to spend the holidays with, nor do they have money for gifts.

Good Shepherd also works with Easter Seals to bring bible study and other services to its members.

Before they opened the presents, they met Santa to share their holiday wishes.

A very grateful Janis Hamburger told WHAG, "I'm just blessed to have so many friends at Easter Seals. They all care about me and like me they're all my friends, I love them so much."

Meanwhile Cathy Wiles says, "for one day we all get to come together, we're one giant family, one giant Christmas party, one giant Christmas dinner and we get to love on them and they get to love on us and it's just a good deal all the way around."

Easter Seals prepared a thank you surprise for Good Shepherd, and performed a Christmas play.
