Santorum was in the running for president in 2012, but pulled out of the race.
Held at Green Grove Gardens in Greencastle, Pennsylvania many were thrilled to have Santorum serve as the evening's key note speaker.
"Oh I'm excited. We like to bring big names to Franklin County and Rick is a big one. And will give people a look at maybe the next front runner," says Dwight Weidman of the Franklin County Republican Party.
Santorum originally planned to bolster Mitt Romney's campaign. But his plans changed when the event was postponed due to Hurricane Sandy.
"So it's a little bit different speech because we're not getting people ready for the elections we're talking about where we go now that the elections is over and there's still big issues and critical decisions we are going to be making," says Santorum.
As the founder of Patriot Voices Organization, Santorum says his mission is to make America a better place.
"Join the effort to stand for American values of liberty and God given rights and free enterprise," says Santorum.
