HAGERSTOWN, MD - As they approach the half way point of their annual campaign, the Washington County United Way unveils their donation progress.

Members of United Way gathered in the Hagerstown Square to celebrate their donation progress and help raise awareness of their cause.

The Washington County United Way hopes to raise $1,750,000 by the end of their campaign. So far, they've received more than half of their goal at the midpoint of their campaign.

"We/re in the midst of our campaign right now. We're beyond the halfway point of contribution so we're excited as to where we are," says Jim Fakult, co-chair at United Way. "We appreciate all the generosity that the county has shown and we're just asking, you know, help us push it over the top and hit our campaign goal."

Money raised will be used in Washington County.
