LURGAN TOWNSHIP, PA - A man was killed in a crash on 641 Friday evening.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. on 8000 block of Newburg Road. State police say that Kenneth Boyd Senior of Shade Gap, Pa. lost control of his car while speeding on westbound 641. He then crossed the center line and crashed into an oncoming vehicle.
Boyd was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle, Abigail Grix of Mifflintown, Pa. was flown to Hershey Medical Center with severe injuries.
The crash is still under investigation.
