WASHINGTON COUNTY, MD - A motorcyclist is dead after being struck by a GMC Sierra pick-up truck in Washington County Friday night.
Police say Paul Wade of Cascade, Maryland was driving the pick-up truck on Foxville Road at Pleasant Valley Road when he turned into the path of a 2005 Kawasaki motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, Vincent Healy Jr. of Thurmont, Maryland was taken to Meritus Medical Center by ambulance, where he later died.
Wade refused treatment at the scene, charges are currently pending against him.
The roadway was closed for about three hours.
