HAGERSTOWN, MD - Hagerstown police are asking for the public's help in finding the robber who tied a clerk up and took cash from a Tekflash computer repair store.

Police say it happened around 11:55 a.m. Thursday morning.
A store clerk told police a black man walked into the store, threatening to have a weapon.

Ryan Deal, owner of Tekflash, says the culprit forced the clerk down into the basement, tied his hands behind his back with nylon rope, and told him to sit on the floor.
Deal says the robber took off with $60 from the cash register, three laptops, two of which were Toshiba, and a backpack.

Police say the clerk was able to free himself minutes later and called 911.

Deal says the robber's face was exposed, and the store has six cameras. He says he hopes that will help in finding the robber.

Police say the clerk was not hurt and did not receive any medical treatment. Anyone with information is asked to call the Hagerstown Police Department
(301)-790-3700.
