CLEAR SPRING, MD - Sometimes high school students may not think about certain careers, especially serving our country.

Paul Toothman, who served in the Air Force for more than a decade, spoke to students Thursday at Clear Spring High school about serving in a military branch.

The visit was part of Enterprise Day.  From business to politics, public service figures talked to students about their careers.  Toothman was also a parole and probation officer for Division of Corrections in Maryland.  He discussed the importance of working for the public.

"I find it exhilarating to be able to talk to students about opportunities in state government or federal government.  I enjoyed my military service time very much, I got a chance to see the world." says Paul Toothman, who retired from the U.S. Air Force.

A total of 15 speakers came to Clear Spring High School, including Maryland State Senator George Edwards.
