HAGERSTOWN, MD - We've heard about scammers using Hurricane Sandy to pose as an electric company and steal victim's money. Now police have charged two men in Hagerstown who they say took advantage of the storm to steal from utility trucks.

Police say Richard Vanes and Timothy Miller stole copper wiring from a utility truck that was helping to restore power during the storm. They got away with more than $3,000 worth of copper.

Police say they're charged with several counts of theft. Police say they are still looking for Timothy Miller. If you know his whereabouts you are asked to contact The Washington County Sheriff's office.
