Hometown Hero: Cpl. Joseph Syracuse

WHAG - This week's Hometown Hero is Cpl. Joseph Syracuse of Cumberland.
His family says Joe has the heart of a lion. He enlisted in the Marines Corp during his Junior year at Frostburg State University. Joe has been to Afghanistan twice... volunteering to go for a second time.
His family tells us he had a close call when he nearly stepped on a pressure mine. But a dog, trained to sniff out explosives, warned him in time... saving several lives.
Now his family says Joe is coming home soon and his parents and wife can't wait to see him.
