FRANKLIN COUNTY, PA - Police blocked off several streets and even surrounded a home in Chambersburg as they hunt for the person who shot a man to death Monday night.

Police barricaded a home for more than nine hours on Sollenberger Road in Hamilton Township. They believed one person was inside who was connected to Monday night's fatal shooting in Chambersburg, but the house turned out to be empty.

Around 10 p.m. Monday night, police found a Hispanic man shot to death at 310 E. King Street. Police plan to release his identity after they notify family members.

Sollenberger Road is back open to traffic.
