Early voting is the same as voting on election day. Any registered voter who is qualified for the election can vote during early voting.
In Frederick, early voting centers will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on October 27th and 29th through November 1st.
On Sunday, October 28th, early voting centers will be open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
"In some of the larger counties they may have up to five early voting locations, and all early voting locations. Their addresses and a picture of them are located at the state board of elections website," says Frederick, MD, Election Director, Stuart Harvey.
States like Pennsylvania do not have early voting.
"Early voting is not an option in Pennsylvania. Is it something that we're going to get? I think some states are moving in that direction, Pennsylvania is very traditional. I don't think we'll be one of the early ones to adopt that," says Franklin County Commissioner, David Keller.
