Hagerstown Plant Fined For Fatal Accident

Herman Weaver was working at Holcim plant when he backed a skid steer loader into a stream bed and drowned.
The U.S. Department of Labor Mine Safety & Health Administration said the accident was due, in part, to the management's failure to follow adequate safety precautions.
They said the company should have put up warning signs near the water hole.
They issued two citations against Holcim.
