FREEZE WATCH in effect for tonight with lows in the upper 20s to low 30s. Bring sensitive vegetation indoors or cover it up or it will likely be lost.

TODAY: A weak front moves through the region with a mix of sun and clouds. It will be gusty at times with a northwest wind up to 10-20 mph. It will be cool with highs in the upper 50s to near 60.

TONIGHT: The wind calms down and it will be cold with lows dipping down into the upper 20s to low 30s.

SATURDAY: The weekend begins on a very chilly note, with sunrise temperatures in the 30s in most neighborhoods and the upper 20s in a few colder spots. The day will be sunny, but cool with a high of 58.

SUNDAY: Sun gives way to increasing clouds by late in the day. It will be warmer with a high of 70 as we get a southwesterly wind ahead of an approaching cold front.

MONDAY: The front passes through bringing a chance of a few showers. It will be a bit cooler, but near average with highs in the upper 60s.

TUESDAY: In the wake of the front, it turns cooler with mostly sunny skies. Highs in the low to mid 60s.

WEDNESDAY: Sunny and seasonable with a high in the mid 60s.

THURSDAY: A combination of sunshine and clouds. There is a slight chance of a shower with an approaching front, but right now we are keeping it dry.
