FREDERICK, MD- Maryland Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown helped the United Way of Frederick County launch a $2-million fundraising campaign.

The Lt. Governor spoke to a group of community leaders and members, urging them to help families in poverty by lending emotional and financial support.

"I think folks are walking away saying, "Hey, I need to be bold in my giving.  I need to advocate for those in need, and I need to roll up my sleeves and volunteer my time," Lt. Gov. Brown said.
