WHAG's cameras were rolling when police patted down and put a man inside a police car.
Police responded to the 400 block of West South Street around 5:30 p.m. Monday.
"We responded here. Apparently there was an altercation. We did locate people in the area. We located a vehicle leaving the scene, which apparently carried a person who was injured, potentially from this event. He's been transported, and we obviously are continuing a very aggressive investigation in the area," Chief Kim Dine said.
Dine says everything happened in the street, and there was a fight.
The victim was taken to Baltimore Shock Trauma with non-life threatening injuries and later released.
Police haven't named any suspects, but say they are interviewing several people.
Dine isn't sure if this incident is connected to the homicide that happened over the weekend.
"I think one crime is one too many," Dine said. "One homicide is one too many, which is why you see a lot of police officers out here working very hard trying to solve this case, as well as the case from over the weekend."
Dine says police will continue to investigate this crime and increase their presence in the area.
