Discover Downtown Charles Town's Trick or Treat

Attention all miniature fairytale princesses, wizards, super heroes, vampires and goblins! Gather your mom and dad, your friends and family, heck, get your dog too, and come to Historic Downtown Charles Town to trick or treat! Discover Downtown Charles Town (DDCT) is delighted to host the upcoming Halloween event which will take place on Friday, October 26, 2012 from 4-6pm.

This annual celebration is free and an entertaining and safe way to trick or treat with the little ones.

Children in costume will enjoy exploring the downtown to collect candy (and maybe tricks) from participating merchants. To find participating businesses, look for balloons and Discover Downtown Charles Town's tricked out Halloween logo.

We've planned a great gathering that will charm adults too! Merchants will scare up an enchanting display of carved pumpkins throughout the downtown in a competition to sculpt the best design. Kids and adults alike will be able to vote for their favorite Jack-o-lantern. The pumpkin with the most points will win and the company that carved it will receive a special media prize package. So, come downtown to vote for your favorite business!
