WV Redistricting Map Upheld By Supreme Court

WEST VIRGINIA - The Supreme Court has decided to uphold the congressional redistricting map in West Virginia.
The court decided Tuesday to reverse a lower court ruling that dismissed the map because of constitutional concerns over population changes.
The court felt those changes were too small to be in violation of the one person, one vote principle.
Opponents felt that some areas of the state were not divided up correctly, diluting their voting power.
