FREDERICK, MD - Say the name "Harry Grove" in Frederick and most people think baseball. The stadium with his name on the front has been a sports staple in the community for years.
"In 1990 the grove family worked hard to have this as part of well basically they sponsored the stadium ... And we are going to work to keep that as part of the name for years to come," says Adam Pohl of the Frederick Keys.
But recently a search was launched for a new sponsorship leaving many to wonder if the stadium will go by a different name.
Many are concerned that the name Harry Grove will be removed. But officials with the keys say that's not the case.
"We want to make sure everyone knows Harry Grove will not be changed. We don't want to change the legacy of what this place has been," says Pohl.
Locals believe strongly about why the name Harry Grove shouldn't be removed.
In the name of Harry Grove, it's a legacy that continues.
