FREDERICK, MD - More than 4,000 elementary students will visit the county's largest agricultural classroom this week.

Students from Frederick County Public Schools are heading to the Great Frederick Fair for AgriScience Day.

The field trip includes 11 educational exhibits, including farm and garden, the Milky Way, and the Animal Birthing Center.

"I like seeing the sheep, the cows, and the goats," six-year-old Will Hodges said.

Most of the kids who attended AgriScience Day say the animals and machinery were their favorite topics to learn about.

"I want to see the tractor pull because I like big tractors," Hodges said.

AgriScience Day continues through this Friday. The Great Frederick Fair runs until Saturday.
