Chambersburg Teen Fatally Shot

CHAMBERSBURG, PA-One male teen is dead, after he was fatally shot and killed in Franklin County.

Chambersburg City Police say 18-year-old Calvin Beam died Monday night after being shot multiple times.  They say the shooting happened around 10:30 pm in the area of Franklin Street and Martin Avenue in Chambersburg.  Beam was transported to Hershey Medical Center where he later died.  Police have not released any information about a possible suspect in the crime or what led up to the shooting.  Residents in area are upset about the fatal shooting.

"I'm really sorry for the boys family. I knew part of the family.  They were pretty well behaved children.  I'm really sorry for his family," says Sarah Winebrenner, a Chambersburg Resident.

The incident is still under investigation.  anyone with information is asked to call Chambersburg City Police.
