Hometown Heroes: Specialist Ryan Kriner

Specialist Ryan Kriner is currently serving in Afghanistan as a medic, but he also carries out many other special tasks.

Even overseas, he is attending classes online to improve his career. Ryan graduated from James Buchanan High School in 2003. He ans his wife, Theresa, have a 22-month-old son, Liam.

His mom says Ryan has exceeded his family's hopes and dreams.
