The cost of healthcare, how tax dollars are being spent, and the quality of public education in the country were just some of the topics of discussion.
Congressman Bartlett will be running for re-election this November. Locals also asked about Maryland's redistricting. Bartlett's district now has many more democratic voters.
The Congressman says he enjoys meeting with constituents and talking about local issues.
He says, "Our country's not inside the beltway, it's out here and I always learn so much more from these than the people who come to learn from me. It's a very enjoyable and rewarding experience for me."
The Congressman also gave a local veteran a medal for his service.
