Hometown Hero Jack Mellott

This week's Hometown Hero is Jack Mellott of Fort Loudon, Pennsylvania.
Jack is a World War II veteran who served in the Navy on the USS Hornet CV-12. He engaged the Japanese fleet two or three times.
During the war, he was in the Philippines, Guam, Saipan, Okinawa, Formosa, Saigon, Hong Kong, Iwo Jima, New Guinea and Japan.
He was nominated by Bob and Ronda Gehr who say they appreciate all Jack did for our country.
