FREDERICK COUNTY, MD - A man is in the hospital with life threatening injuries after leading police on a car chase in Frederick.

It happened just after midnight on Thursday on Monocacy Boulevard.

Police say they attempted to pull the driver for a motor vehicle violation, but he took off.
The chase ended when the suspect's vehicle struck a curb and light pole and rolled over several times.

When police approached the vehicle, the man wasn't inside. After a two hour search, they realized he had been ejected and thrown sixty feet away.

The suspect was then taken to Meritus Medical Center where he is in stable condition.

Police say the man had stolen the car from Monocacy Motors where he worked. His identify has yet to be released.

Whoever proofreads your articles should be fired. "His identify has yet to be released". Not to mention the EMS coordinator who was "injures" in a crash has passed away.
