Lee Follett of Smithsburg received the Special Olympics Maryland Sportsmanship award from the 2011 summer games.

A Montgomery County coach nominated him after he was pulled off the track early during a 1500 meter race.

He could have acted as if he had finished, but instead he jumped back in and finished the last lap

Way to go, Lee!
