WHAG is honoring a hero who's making a difference in the community with its Kids Are Heroes segment.
Mercy Blouin-Escoto is WHAG's Hero of the Month and she's joined by Kids Are Heroes co-founder Gabe O'Neill.
Mercy has muscular dystrophy, which is one of her main causes and she's very involved with the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
She also works with kids who have cancer, and she's even donated her hair to Locks of Love.
