Bio For Alan Auglis

Meteorologist Alan Auglis joined the WHAG Weather team in May 2011. Alan started his career at WMDT in Salisbury, Maryland as the weekend and fill-in Meteorologist for a year. He also worked at WJLA in Washington, DC where he learned from some of the best meteorologists in the business.
Alan earned his Bachelor's degree in Meteorology from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. He delivered the weather for MUTV and now looks back and laughs at his performance, but is thankful for the opportunity before entering the real world of television.
Alan was raised in Maryland so he feels right at home in the four state area. Living in Maryland his whole life, Alan has witnessed and experienced the complex weather patterns that affect our area. He's had a passion for the weather since he was very young. His friends and family always turned to him for the latest forecast, especially during snowstorms.

When he is not forecasting the weather, Alan likes to spend time outdoors, landscaping, hiking, spending time with family and friends, relaxing and enjoying life!
