Danny Mauk - Hancock High School

Our male student athlete of the month is Hancock Senior, Danny Mauk. Danny is a member and captain of the Panthers' football team. The 3-year starter plays on both sides of the ball as defensive end, linebacker, lineman, long snapper and center. Last season the team honored him with the Unsung Hero Award.
Academically, Danny maintains a 4.11 G.P.A while taking honors and A.P. classes. He is also a member of the National Honor Society and a 4-year member of the Student Council.
