Sarah Stephens - Southern Garrett High School

Our Female Student Athlete of the Month is Sarah Stephens. Sarah is a senior at Southern Garrett High School and is the current state champion for high jump. She also placed third in hurdles at states. In addition to her track and field accomplishments, she was also the captain of the Rams state championship basketball team and state runner-up volleyball team.
In the classroom, Sarah maintains a 3.98 G.P.A. in honors and A.P. classes, and she is the vice president of the National Honor Society at Southern.
Sarah will attend Frostburg State University where she will play on the Bobcats' volleyball team. Congratulations, Sarah, on a job well done, and best of luck in the future from all of us at NBC25.
