Matt Amalfitano - North Hagerstown High School

Our male student athlete of the month is Matt Amalfitano. Matt is a senior at North Hagerstown High. He is the Hubs goalie and team captain. He was chosen to play on the Frederick area select team and was all-MVAL Honorable Mention as a goalie. Matt has taken his coach's mentality and has pushed himself to also excell in his studies. As North's Student Government President, Matt maintains a 4.4 G.P.A. that ranks him third in his class.
Matt will continue his education and playing lacrosse at the Ivy League’s University of Pennsylvania. Congratulations, Matt, on a job well done from NBC25, and best of luck in the future.
