Deadly Car Accident in MD

Maryland state police in Hagerstown said the accident happened near the Virginia state line. 35-year-old Edward Iler was walking up Route-340 around 3:30 Saturday morning when he was struck by a pickup truck. Iler was pronounced dead at the scene. At this time investigators said the driver of the pickup truck was not at fault. Route-340 was closed for nearly two hours after the accident.
