The plane crashed shortly after taking off from Lexington, Kentucky more than a week ago. The family of one of the passengers alleges negligence on the part of Comair employees.
A lawsuit, blaming Comair for the crash, was filed Friday in Lexington. Investigators said the plane was on the wrong runway and that an air traffic controller with just two hours sleep between shifts cleared the plane for takeoff.
Forty-nine people died, including Steve McElravey of Hagerstown."
