The two day event pays tribute to the areas rich German heritage. The fun kicks off on Friday morning in downtown. Parking is limited already.
The event will have traditional dancing, Bavarian food, and plenty to drink. The event helps support exchange students going to Hagerstowns sister city, Wesel, Germany.
Augustoberfest will be held rain or shine. Tickets are $5.

MERCERSBURG, PA- A 26-day manhunt for suspected killer Curtis Burkett has come to an end after a farmer discovered his body and his pickup truck in a Pennsylvania cornfield Thursday. He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.
