Results from a yearly progress report shows that all Washington County Elementary and Middle Schools have met state standards established by the No Child Left Behind Act.
A spokesperson for the Washington County Public Schools said the results show that no schools in Washington County are in need of improvement or in need of local attention. The students were tested in both reading and math areas.
Officials said they are hoping to uphold the good progress report record in the future.
Carol Mowen, Public Information Officer of Washington County Schools, said the school system has targeted measures they strive for each year. By the year 2014, they want all the students to meet the proficient status.
The high school students also took a similar test. The results of how they did wont be released until later this year.
