Scott Hesse has decided to throw his support behind former delegate, Paul Muldowney. He made the announcement Tuesday afternoon, with Muldowney by his side. Hesse said when he decided to run last June, there was no other republican on the ticket.
He said he made the decision to do whats best for the Republican Party.
I will support Paul; a lot of my supporters will support Paul. It certainly makes us stronger than we were apart," said Scott Hesse.
"I am elated by Scotts actions; I am also humbled by them, to think that he would withdraw for the sake of solidarity and unity of the Republican Party," said Paul Muldowney.
The primary election will be held on September 12th.

Pennsylvania Expands Hybrid Rebate Program,1153863223,1153863223,NBC25 NEWS- Millions of dollars are up for grabs in Pennsylvania but only for people who own hybrid vehicles.,"The state is expanding its rebate program for fuel-efficient vehicle owners. Last year Pennsylvania issued $1.5 million in $500 rebate checks.
Officials said although the amount of the rebates will remain the same this year, $3 million is available. Rebates are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.
