Hagerstown Candidate for Maryland State House Drops out of Race

Scott Hesse has decided to throw his support behind former delegate, Paul Muldowney. He made the announcement Tuesday afternoon, with Muldowney by his side. Hesse said when he decided to run last June, there was no other republican on the ticket. He said he made the decision to do whats best for the Republican Party. I will support Paul; a lot of my supporters will support Paul. It certainly makes us stronger than we were apart," said Scott Hesse. "I am elated by Scotts actions; I am also humbled by them, to think that he would withdraw for the sake of solidarity and unity of the Republican Party," said Paul Muldowney. The primary election will be held on September 12th.
