West Virginia State Police said 28-year-old James Thomas fled the nightclub on Winchester Avenue in his Ford Explorer and went south on Route 11. Police said as they chased Thomas into Virginia, he began throwing drugs and eventually his gun out the window. Thomas was eventually caught by police after rear-ending his car into another vehicle. Thomas faces numerous charges including a D.U.I.
