Frederick Police said it happened at the Prospect Plaza Apartments. Brandon Morris hit Roosevelt Harris in the head with his gun before he and his accomplice, Malcom Herrin, stole the victims wallet.
The men demanded drugs from Harris and two other people living in the complex. Police believe shots were fired after there was a struggle to get the gun.
Herrin was caught in the parking lot after he jumped from the second floor and broke his leg. Morris was captured at a nearby CVS. Herrin was treated at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Both men are facing several charges including robbery and assault. Nobody else was injured in the incident.
