Credit Card Thieves on the Run

By: Import User
Updated: February 6, 2007
They have the man and woman on surveillance video. The woman went to Wal-Mart in Waynesboro and purchased DVDs with the stolen cards. Police said she has hit stores in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia with an accomplice. They said they have records of the couples purchases in Frederick, Chambersburg, Waynesboro, and Martinsburg. Officers think they know how they stole the credit cards. "We believe that the suspects took the credit cards from the victims wallet at the Dollar General Store in Smithsburg where the victim works. Her purse was near a restroom," said Scott Bare, Maryland State Police Trooper. If you think youve seen the couple in the picture to the left, contact Maryland State Police in Hagerstown.
