They are not saying if the person is a student or a staff member. They are recommending TB tests for people who have had prolonged exposure to the person.
Letters were mailed out on Saturday urging parents of those students to have their child tested.
School officials said the entire student body is not believed to be at risk so not all students need to be tested.
"One must be in close proximity in order to be exposed to contract the disease, so the part individuals who have received letters have been at a close enough proximity to possibly be exposed," said Carol Mowen, from Wash. Co. Public Schools.
An information session will be held tomorrow evening at South Hagerstown High School at 6:30 for parents who may have any questions or concerns. School is continuing as normal.
