FREDERICK, MD - Many came out to Frederick's Brewers Alley to meet the author of The Good Man, Mark Shriver.

On Thursday, Shriver talked to those in attendance about his most recent book.

The book was written about his father and founder of the Peace Corps, Sergeant Shriver.

Shriver talked about his inspiration for writing the book as well as the things he learned about his father while he was piecing the story together.

"It's a story of a son trying to understand what made his father so joyful and so successful, not on the political or international stage creating Head Start, Peace Corp, Job Corp, Vista, those types of programs, but really how he was a great father," says Shriver.

Shriver signed autographs for everyone who attended.
