By: Ciara Brown
Updated: March 15, 2013
WASHINGTON COUNTY, MD- Maryland State Police are investigating after they say one person was flown to shock trauma and another taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident Friday afternoon.

It happened at 3:50 p.m. at the corner of Rohrersville Road and Appletown Road, south of Boonsboro.

Washington County Emergency Services say a box truck was involved in the crash, spilling diesel fuel onto the road.

Supervisors say the two roads were shut down for several hours for an extensive cleanup.

Maryland State Police say as of 7:24 p.m. the two victims are okay.

The scene is clear and all roads are now open.
