WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for Garrett, Western Grant and Mineral Counties until 8am Thursday for 2"-5" of snow.
TODAY: An upper level disturbance passes through later today. Expect sun to give way to clouds with a chance of a rain or snow shower late this morning into the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40s. It will be breezy with a west wind at 10-20 mph. Expect snow in the mountains west of the Allegheny front with 1"-3" expected today.
TONIGHT: Partly to mostly cloudy and still gusty with lows in the mid to upper 20s. Mountain snow will continues with an additional 1"-2" expected.
THURSDAY: It will be windy and cold, but sunny. Highs will be in the low 40s, but wind chills will be in the 20s and 30s!
FRIDAY: A mix of clouds and sunshine. It's milder with highs in the low 50s.
SATURDAY: A low pressure passing by overhead bringing a few showers. The 5k St. Patrick's Day race will be a little wet. It will be mild though with highs in the mid 50s.
SUNDAY: A wave of low pressure rides along a stalled frontal boundary with a chance of rain or snow developing later in the day. The track of the storm has been changing so stay tuned for more updates. Highs will be in the mid 40s.
MONDAY: Mostly cloudy with a chance of some rain showers, especially later in the day. High: 47.
TUESDAY: Partly sunny and breezy with highs in the upper 40s.
