Responders say they received a call around 1:45 p.m. about a white haze inside a house near 1610 Dual Highway.
Fire officials say when they arrived they discovered the house filled with smoke and carbon monoxide. They say the smoke was due to a broken furnace inside the home.
Firefighters aired out the house and reopened the westbound lanes on Dual Highway shortly after.
