By: WHAG Weather Team
Updated: March 4, 2013
HAGERSTOWN, MD - Snow will develop Tuesday night through Wednesday night.

A WINTER STORM WATCH is in effect for the counties in blue from Tuesday night into Wednesday night for the potential of 5"+ of snow.

Snow will arrive Tuesday evening and overnight and will continue through the day on Wednesday. This will be a heavy, wet snow with 5" or more possible in the watch area.

A low pressure will track through Southern Virginia and Northern North Carolina as it strengthens. This will spread a heavy snow into the area Tuesday night into Wednesday night. It will become windy as the storm intensifies off the coast Wednesday afternoon. Some tree limbs may break from the weight of the snow as well.

Stay with the WHAG Weather team with winter and severe weather hits the area, we'll keep you informed as these events roll though on their social media platforms as well as Your4State.com.
