HAGERSTOWNMD - Hagerstown Police continue to investigate a stabbing at a local restaurant.

It happened just before 1 a.m. Sunday at El Palenque Cantina Restaurant at 204 East Franklin Street.

Police say they found a man stabbed in his lower back.

Police were able to identify the three suspects involved in the stabbing as Antwann Jackson, 27, Christopher Dorm, 23, and 26-year-old Justin Lawrence.

"It appears that there was some kind of disturbance, between the victim and at least one of the suspects that caused an altercation. During that altercation two other suspects joined in and there was an assault at some point in time during that altercation," says Detective Sgt. Jim Hurd, Hagerstown Police Department.

The victim was taken to Meritus Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The three men are being charged with first and second-degree assault and conspiracy to commit second-degree assault.

Anyone with information on the suspects' whereabouts are asked to call the Hagerstown Police Department at 301-790-3700.
