Proposed Budget Cuts Could Also Affect Seniors

Elected officials say a combined $129 billion in cuts in social security for seniors and veterans are not line items in a budget.
The change would hurt seniors and veterans who are already struggling to pay for groceries, health care and heating bills.
The U.S. Senate continues to debate how to stop the automatic sequestration budget cuts that are scheduled for this Friday.
