FREDERICK, MD - And the winner is Zoe's Chocolate Company. The local business is now making its way to the Oscars.

The downtown business in Frederick has made a trip to the Emmys and is now going to make the Oscars a little bit sweeter this year with their gourmet chocolates.

"We kind of grew up in the business, it's something we're passionate about and always loved to do, and now we're going back to do the Oscars," says Zoe Tsoukatos, who owns Zoe's Chocolate Co. with her two brothers.

The chocolate company was chosen to hand out their treats at the Celebrity Gift Lounge.

As for the celebrities who are on strict Oscar diets, the chocolates could make things difficult, especially if their sweet tooth is anything like customer Shelly Zemrose.

"I'm always dieting and doing casing freed diets, so I can't eat lot of sweets. But I have a little piece of chocolate every night as a treat. They have really good quality chocolates, so this is where I choose to cheat," says Shelly Zemrose, of Frederick.

Zoe says the trip is all business and that her family has been making chocolate for more than 100 years. She and her brothers started the company in Waynesboro, Pa., in 2007 and opened the shop in Frederick in 2009.

"Frederick's been a second home to us, in addition to Waynesboro," says Tsoukatos.

"It's nice to have, you know, a nice little chocolate shop that's not only really good but getting nationwide claim," says Zemrose.

They'll be handing out 24 karat chocolate gold bars at the Oscars, as well as an assortment of the chocolates they sell in their shops.

Head to Zoe's Chocolate Co. Facebook page to find out how to enter the shops contests for a chance to win Oscars memorabilia.
