TODAY: It's cold to start, but with high pressure overhead, it warms up into the low 40s with plenty of sunshine.
TONIGHT: Clear to start with clouds arriving by dawn. Lows will drop in the upper 20s to low 30s.
TUESDAY: A cold front moves in early in the day with temperatures in the low 30s. A light wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain is possible before 10am. Little to no accumulation is expected over much of the region. An inch or two of snow and sleet is possible in the higher elevations of the Potomac Highlands and Western Maryland. Expect a few showers to linger into the early afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 40s.
WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny, windy and colder with highs in the low to 30s. Wind chills will be in the teens and 20s.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny, breezy and chilly with highs in the upper 30s.
FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy with a light wintry mix of snow, sleet, and freezing possible as a warm front approaches. High: 36.
SATURDAY: A low pressure passes by to our south bringing the chance of snow, sleet, and freezing rain. Highs in the low 40s.
SUNDAY: Partly cloudy and warmer with highs in the mid 40s.
