TODAY: High pressure overhead brings mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s. Any morning snow will quickly melt, but watch out for a few icy spots early this morning.

TONIGHT:  Mostly cloudy with lows dropping into the lower 30s. If you are going out for Valentine's Day in the evening, temperatures will be in the low 40s during the evening.

FRIDAY: Increasing clouds as an upper level piece of energy arrives. There is a chance of a few afternoon showers and mountain snow showers. An inch or two is possible in Western Allegany and Garrett Counties. Highs will be around 50. It could end as some wet snow early overnight as an Arctic boundary passes by. Lows will be in the upper 20s.

SATURDAY: Partly sunny with snow showers possible as some upper level energy will be overhead. Highs in the upper 30s.

SUNDAY: Partly sunny and blustery with more mountain snow showers. High: 32.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny and milder with a high around 42.

TUESDAY: A cold front approaches with a chance of rain. Highs in the low 40s.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny for President's Day with a high around 40.
